Control Panel:
The Control Panel will be where you administer the site, add products, manage categories and manage orders. It will be secured by an administrator user name and password.

Main Page – You will be able to add select product to the main page. The main page text and main image will be able to be changed or updated with the Control Panel. “Main Page” images can be automatically sized using the “e-Image Ready Software” described below.

Image Formats– Both the main page banner image and product image managers now support .Jpg, .Gif and .Swf (flash) file formats.

Custom Page Header – You will be able to change the Store Logo at the top of each page by simple choosing the image you want to use or enter Text if you choose not to use an image. Header images can be automatically sized using the “e-Image Ready Software” described below.

Configurable Color Schemes – You will be able to instantly change the color scheme of your web site by simply picking one of our many predefined color scheme choices using the Control Panel.

Custom Page Control – The following pages are dynamic and can be changed and Update with the Control Panel so your site information is always up to date. You also have the option to display or not display them.

Database driven menu system - The menus will now be database driven so you can add new product categories and sub categories instantly through the “Administration Control Panel”.

Up Sell Related Products  - On the right side of an Item Detail Page, the database will show related products with the heading “You might also be interested in…”. Related product can be chosen on a product by product basis in the “Product Administration Control Panel”

Search Function – You or the end user will be able to search for a particular product name or item number site wide. This will make things easier for you if you want a customer to look a particular item on the site. Simple tell them to type the item number (that will be listed with each item) into the search box and click “Go”.

Discount calculator – The site will automatically calculate the savings between the regular market price and your price and display the savings in dollars and percent on the item details page. This will be optional on a product-by-product basis. If you only list your price it will not do the calculation.

Meta Tag Generator – Simply fill in the Meta tag description and keywords and Meta information is automatically generated for all of your web pages. Meta Data will aid you in achieving higher search engine rankings.

Most Popular – When a menu item like “Rings” is selected the menu will expand to show the Silver Rings, Gold Rings and so on. You will be shown the “Most Popular Rings” page. You will have the choice as to what rings you want to list on the most popular pages.

Multiple Category Assignment - will allow you to assign a product to up to 4 different product categories. This time saving feature uses a 1 common product entry so you don’t have to maintain multiple copies of the same product.
Show On Site Option – This will allow you to turn a product on and off.

Automatic Product SKU – This will automatically generate a product SKU or Item Number if one is not entered when creating a product. It can be changed later.

Product Image Manager – The image manager will allow you to easily upload and manage product Images and Thumbnails for each product.

e-Image Ready Software
This is software that we designed specifically for preparing images for the My Web Store web site. You will simply load the image(s) you want to prepare.
You can select multiple images if you like. Draw a box around the area of the picture you want to use and click Process Image. E-Image ready will automatically optimize the product photo and create a large image and a thumbnail. The prepared images will be automatically named as filename_LG.jpg for large images and filename_Thumb.jpg for thumbnail images, and then saved to a folder of you choice. Other tool such as the “Wipe Out” tool will let you remove text or imperfections for a scanned image.

Customer Checkout:
Upon checkout the customer will receive and automatic email verifying that the order has been received. It will include a relevant order details including the Order Number.

Quick and Easy Checkout:
Standard Checkout allows the customer to checkout without becoming a register member. Standard Checkout requires that the customer enters and validates all of their credit card and personal data each time they checkout. Alternatively registered members can instantly checkout by entering their membership Username and Password. The account manage allows members to easily maintain and update personal and credit card information as well as view transaction history.

Custom Tax Per State – You simple enter the state your business is setup in and the tax amount to charge.

Order Processing Options:
There are currently 3 order processing methods available.

  1. “Catalog Only” This method will allow you to turn off all buy buttons and use the site as a web based catalog only.

  2. “Manual Processing” The cart will collect customer data and save it through a secure connection. All order information will be available in the “New Orders” area. You will then process the credit cards manually using you existing swipe machine or non-integrated merchant account.
  3. “Real Time Processing” The cart will collect customer data and pass it to the integrated “Link Point Connect Gateway”. The Link Point Gateway will validate the charge and send back an approved or declined response. If the response is approved all applicable Customer and Order information will be saved and the order information will be available in the “New Orders” area.

Order Management:
All new orders will be entered into the database along with customer information. The “New Orders” page will allow you to see new orders and process shipping information. Once an order is processed. The customer will receive and automatic email that the order has been shipped, including tracking information. The processed order will be removed from the “New Orders Tab”. If a customer call and would like to know the order status you can search for orders by the customer name, email or order number. The order status and tracking information is stamped on the order.

Database driven product options system - The product options (if you choose to use them) will now be database drive so you can add new product options through the “Administration Control Panel”. Our unique “Dynamic Product” option lets you create reusable product options that can add or subtract extra costs to a product depending on the option that is selected.

Dynamic Product Options - The product options will also have Dynamic properties. When adding an item, if you choose a product option that has dynamic properties you will be asked to fill in the specific price increase or decrease information for each option. Dynamic option can be used over and over for each product.

Pre-installed Merchant Account Options
Although My Web Store can be configured to work with almost any merchant account gateway, three gateways are currently pre-installed and available for easy integration.
1) Link Point Connect
2) 2 Checkout
3) TransFirst EpaySecure

Discount Codes –
The cart will give the option to enter a discount code before checkout. You will be able to Add, Modify and Delete codes. Each code will have a discount percent (example: $10 off) and an expiration period from date of creation (example: good for 30 days).

Flat Rate Shipping – All items can have an individual flat rate shipping cost associated to it. If no cost is defined the  “Free Shipping for this Item” label is displayed.

Per Dollar Amount Shipping Method – The cart will use the “Cost per Dollar Amount” shipping mentor. You will be able to set up a shipping price for dollar range per method table.

Example:
UPS Ground –
Between .01 and 100 = $7 shipping
Between 100 and 300 = $15 shipping
Between 300 and 1000 = $50 shipping

UPS Next Day –
Between .01 and 100 = $20 shipping
Between 100 and 300 = $50 shipping
Between 300 and 1000 = $100 shipping
